Praise for Gatherers and Hunters:
'The stories speak of our past and our future, of young and old, in a distinctive quiet voice that reminds us of whom and what we are.' - Media-Culture Reviews

'The writing throughout Gatherers and Hunters has a beautiful, meditative quality. Looking back towards loss and forward into possibility, the collection has a satisfying unity even as it ranges across a diverse spectrum of countries, ethnicity, age and time.' Bronwyn Lacken, Reviews in Australian Studies
