It’s time for our Poem of the Week to bring you into the long weekend! Today we are featuring\u00a0‘Frost’ by the wonderful Kate Llewellyn, from her recent collection Harbour<\/em><\/a>.<\/h1>\n

As we head into the Easter long weekend, I thought it might be a good time to sink into the calming and vivid imagery of Kate Llewellyn’s work.<\/p>\n

This particular piece featured today celebrates the beauty of a garden in the morning frost, and the joy to be found within ordinary activity. Yes, winter is approaching and the weather is growing colder. Yet, as explored within Kate Llewellyn’s poem ‘Frost’, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.<\/p>\n

A perfect collection, and poem, for dreaming away the long, slow weekend. It makes one yearn to be in the garden, cultivating in the cool.<\/p>\n
