\n<\/a>A mysterious box arrived in our office this morning, post-stamped Leverkusen, Deutschland. We soon discovered its contents were none other than\u00a0five beautifully wrapped books \u2013\u00a0German editions of the best-seller\u00a0Behind the Veil<\/b><\/em> by Lydia Laube, published as Hinter Dem Schleier<\/b><\/i> by Drachemond Verlag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Germans have certainly out-done themselves with their version (left) \u2013 a stark contrast to ours (right). Let us know which you like best!<\/p>\n

Not only do our German counterparts make lovely books like ours, they also explain the quality of their work in the same way that we do:\u00a0‘Machen B\u00fccher gl\u00fccklich? Wir sagen ja! Daher sind unsere Verlagstitel mit Herzblut erdacht und mit Liebe gemacht.’ (Translation: ‘Books make you happy? We say yes! Therefore our published titles are passionately conceived and made \u200b\u200bwith love.\u00a0Enjoy your reading!’)<\/p>\n
