Cornucopia
Adrian Feint, Richard Heathcote
Adrian Feint (1894-1971) was a painter, printmaker, bookplate designer, illustrator, commercial artist and gallery director. In his home city of Sydney, and elsewhere in Australia, he was known as 'a man of unerring taste and colour sense'. Adrian Feint: Cornucopia showcases the range of works of this unjustly neglected artist, focusing especially on his stunning flower paintings and landscapes.
Richard Heathcote resides in Adelaide and is the Director of Carrick Hill. His broad experience within the fields of regional arts and historic houses and gardens includes the establishment of the Australian Exhibitions Touring Agency, the management of Rippon Lea Historic House and Garden in Victoria, and the presentation in 2001 of a television series for ABC, ‘Gardening Australia’. Since taking up his current position in 2004 he has focused on increasing Carrick Hill’s potential as a museum, gallery and historic garden.
