J.C. Bannon

Former SA Premier, the Hon. Dr John Bannon, AO (1943-2015), published and lectured extensively on the history of Australian federation. He served as a minister, Leader of the Opposition, and, from 1982 to 1992, as Premier and Treasurer of South Australia. He was National President of the Australian Labor Party from 1988 to 1991.
