Stephanie Luke

Stephanie Luke completed a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney in 1988 and moved to Adelaide. She enrolled in a creative writing course at the Adelaide College of TAFE in 1991, and her manuscript Harm was shortlisted in the Vogel National Literary Award (for an Unpublished Manuscript) in 1998. Harm was later published by Wakefield Press in 2000. She worked at the South Australian Writers' Centre 1995-2005 in a variety of roles. She worked on another novel partly set in Hanoi Vietnam as part of an Asialink Residency program. She corresponded with Alex Miller as part of the Australian Society of Authors mentorship program and has been the recipient of an ArtSA grant and an Australia Council grant.
