Terina Armenakis

Terina Armenakis was born and raised in Ethiopia. Serving for many years as the Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia in Greece, she has worked tirelessly to assist in the development of Ethiopia and to promote the country in Greece. Terina acquired her degree in economics and qualified as a certified stockbroker in New York. Having worked as an investment banker in both the United Kingdom and Greece, she then created her own real estate company in Athens. Amongst other projects, she initiated the construction of the first earthen dam in the Wollayita region in Ethiopia, a project that contributed to the agricultural development of the area. She is a founding member of several cultural humanitarian and business associations and Honorary President of the Consular Corps in Greece. On 3 December 2018 she received the Carolos Mitsakis Award from the Society of Greek Literary Translators for the promotion of Hellenic ethnographic culture.
