Tikari Rigney
Tikari Rigney is a queer Kaurna, Narrunga, Ngarrindjeri multidisciplinary artist living and working on unceded Kaurna Country. Their storytelling practice traverses poetry, visual art and community-based arts projects and often centres around themes of belonging, identity, place and body.
In 2024 Tikari was the Adelaide City Library Poet in Residence, and their work was published in Oh How We Laughed, Woven Webs and Splinter Journal. In 2023 a residency at The Mill, Adelaide, culminated in their solo show Snug Diaries. They have worked as a curator, facilitator and cultural producer.
