Tony Hanning
Tony Hanning is an internationally recognised glass artist, whose work is represented in all State and national collections in Australia, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He is a former director of Latrobe Regional Gallery, and a former mayor of Latrobe City. He has a PhD and is a former lecturer in Art and Design. He has served on the Visual Arts Board of the Australia Council and Regional Arts Victoria. Until recently he was chair of the Latrobe Regional Gallery Advisory Board. He has written numerous articles and curated a number of exhibitions for public galleries. Tony Hanning lives in the Gippsland hills with his wife Janine. They have a daughter, Amanda. He is regularly mistaken for no one in particular, but most often simply mistaken.
