Exhibition: Kumarangk

Kumarangk is an intergenerational love letter for Ngarrindjeri women; an exhibition that explores the survival of culture, and resistance to colonial destruction. Curated by Dominic Guerrera and Danni Zuvela, the exhibition will feature the remounting of Sandra Saunders's HIndmarsh Island Collection, major new works from Mardawi Art Collective, which includes the legendary Aunty Ellen Trevorrow, alongside Elizabeth Rankine, Margi Sumner, Temeika Campbell, Bessie Rigney, Zemiah Campbell, Debra Rankine and Stephanie Russell. Kumarangk will also feature new weaving pieces from Aunty Betty Sumner, Sonya Rankine and Carly Tarkari Dodd, and ceramics from Tiarnie Edwards.

This exhibition will run until Saturday 4 May. More information here.
