The alchemy of collaboration

Amanda Duthie

In Andrew Bovell: The alchemy of collaboration, Australian artists and filmmakers pay tribute to one of Australia's greatest writers for stage and screen. Andrew Bovell's credits include the landmark film Lantana and the award-winning play When the Rain Stops Falling. He adapted Kate Grenville's book The Secret River for stage and John le Carre's A Most Wanted Man for the big screen.

'The truth of the drama he writes carries equally well in a nine-hundred-seat theatre or in a close-up, because the truth is always at the heart of his work.' - Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett
