Graham Rowlands has published poetry for over forty years. In the early 1970s he moved from Brisbane to Adelaide, where he taught literature and creative writing at tertiary level. A long-time member of the poetry performance venue Friendly Street, he has been heavily involved in editing and publishing Friendly Street's poetry readers ad collections. He has published numerous poetry reviews, particular in Overland, and continues to work as a private poetry editor. While he has published seven collections and his work has been selected for many Australia anthologies, he still continues to concentrate on poems for magazines and newspapers. He hopes to add to his 1000 individually published poems even after this, his last collection.
