These are ordinary people caught up in a modern tragedy - a tragedy that was ignored until it was too late.

Miriam Miller began work as a conference interpreter at the European Commission in Belgium. She has since written books and papers for multinational organisations and speeches for corporate executives and political leaders in Asia and Australia. She lives in Perth, Western Australia.
